140 Pounds Of Suspected Marijuana Found In Car
FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police arrested two Baltimore women after they say troopers found nearly 140 pounds of suspected marijuana in their car.
Police say Tamboura Hall, 36, was speeding on Interstate 68 in Frostburg about 9 p.m. Sunday when troopers stopped her.
Authorities say the suspected marijuana was in five luggage bags. The Times-News of Cumberland reports that troopers estimated the street value of the suspected marijuana at more than $200,000.
Hall and a passenger in the car, 36-year-old Chanelle Williams, were charged with drug distribution and possession offenses.
