14-year-old Charged In Fatal Stabbing
OXON HILL, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say a 14-year-old boy has been charged with in the stabbing death of a man in Oxon Hill.
Officers say the youth, who was arrested Thursday night, was charged as an adult with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Jerome Michael Toy.
Police say about 12:45 a.m. Thursday, officers on patrol found Toy in the road with a stab wound to his upper body.
Authorities say the officers administered first aid, but Toy died at hospital.
Police say Toy was stabbed in an apartment building, ran from the building and collapsed in the street.
Investigators Toy and the youth had a longstanding dispute that escalated to the stabbing.
