12-Year-Old Cited For Driving Stolen Car In Annapolis
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Annapolis Police say a 12-year-old boy was stopped for driving a stolen car, with his 14-year-old brother as a passenger.
It happened about 9:15 p.m. Monday. Police say a security guard saw a car driving slowly with its trunk open and headlights off. Officers say the car stopped and two boys, ages 12 and 14, got out.
The guard called police, who found the two boys, who authorities say are brothers, standing next to the car.
Police say the car was reported stolen a few hours later, and the boys were charged on juvenile citations with car theft.
