17-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Shooting Outside Shop Express In Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, MD. (WJZ) -- Police are searching for two suspects after a 17-year-old was shot outside a store in Brooklyn Park Monday night.
Officers responded for a shooting at the Shop Express found at 714 Church Street in Brooklyn Park. A 17-year-old boy was leaving the store and was followed around the corner by two suspects.
The victim then came back into the shop with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Officers spoke with witnesses who said they heard a gunshot and saw two suspects flee the area immediately after the shooting happened.
Police believe it was a targeted incident and not a random act of violence.
