Cause Of Deadly Rosedale House Fire Under Investigation
ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County firefighters battled a house fire in Rosedale Sunday morning.
According to officials, they were called to the Rosedale home around 7:15 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say a juvenile was awakened by a smoke detector going off. When that juvenile went downstairs, they saw there was a fire in the rear of the house. The juvenile exited the home and called 911.
When firefighters arrived, they were able to quickly extinguish the fire. When they entered, they found a person in the area of the fire; that person was deceased.
The juvenile was not injured and no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
