1 Dead In Baltimore County Accident
COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are investigating an accident that left one person dead.
Officials say the accident occurred at York Road and Thornton Mill Road at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to police, a 2003 Ford Explorer was speeding on York Road, crossed the center line and hit a guardrail, then continued along the guardrail. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
York Road was closed during the initial investigation but has since been reopened.
This incident is under investigation.
