Wylie Sanctuary Part Of Major Exotic Animal Rescue

WYLIE (CBSDFW.COM) - A North Texas animal rescue is part of one of the largest exotic animal rescues in U.S. history.
One-hundred and ten animals need new homes after the owner of a Colorado sanctuary became too sick to care for them.
The Wylie animal rescue sanctuary, In-Sync Exotics is planning to bring back at least 17 tigers and two lemurs over the next few weeks.
Two leopards have already arrive. They are in their quarantine areas. After their 30 days in quarantine is up they will be moved to a large outdoor enclosure.
The other animals are going to animal sanctuaries in Arkansas and North Carolina.
In a news release, In-Sync Exotics explained the goal is to downsize the Colorado facility as quickly as possible to be able to manage the animals as winter sets in, in Colorado.
"This is an enormous undertaking and the cooperation and generosity of the animal sanctuary community cannot be overstated. This is an unprecedented showing of sanctuaries working together to make sure no big cat or exotic animal will be left behind," the group said in the news release.
