FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A wrong way crash on I-30 in Fort Worth killed a pregnant woman, her unborn baby and another person Tuesday night.

Police say the driver of a Dodge sedan was going east bound in the west bound lanes of I-30 and slammed into an Infiniti sedan between Oakland and Beach Streets at about 10:30 p.m.

An 18 year-old pregnant woman, identified as Sabrina Fernandez, who was driving the Infiniti, was pinned in the car and died at the hospital.  Two passengers in Fernandez's vehicle, a 28-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy, were taken to a hospital in critical condition.  The other driver, who was traveling the wrong way, was also killed.

Police say it's not clear how long the driver of the Dodge was going the wrong way down the interstate, and they have not yet determined why she was going the wrong way.

"We have not been able to establish if alcohol was a factor we have to wait till we get toxicology reports on driver of the Dodge," said Fort Worth Police Captain Scott Conn.

The victim's family wants to bury their daughter in Lubbock, the place where she was born.
