Three Women Found Dead In Fort Worth Home

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - Fort Worth homicide detectives are investigating a triple homicide at a home in South Fort Worth.

Three women were found dead inside the home, located on West Felix Tuesday morning.  All three were shot.  One had been stabbed.

Fort Worth police Sgt. Raymond Bush says the women were members of the same family and have been identified as 48-year-old Cynthia Serrano; her daughter, 21-year-old April Serrano; and her sister, 35-year-old Cathy de Leon.

It's believed the women were attacked at some point after 6:30 Tuesday morning.

Family members say police were notified by a 911 call made by Cynthia Serrano's husband.

"Shortly after 8 o'clock this morning, Fort Worth police received a call about a possible homicide on the 500 block of W. Felix St.," said Sgt. Raymond Bush of the Fort Worth Police Department. "Upon arrival officers found multiple deceased persons inside the residence."

CBS 11 spoke with a man named Anthony (he did not give his last name), who says two of the deceased women are his sisters and the third is his niece who was in her 20s.

Fort Worth Police are releasing no information about any possible suspects.

Homicide detectives have taken the lead on the investigation, according to Bush, and will likely be on the scene throughout the rest of the day.
