DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police say a woman accused of providing illegal buttocks injections has surrendered to authorities.

Investigators say 43-year-old Denise Rochelle Ross surrendered Wednesday. She was booked into the Dallas County jail but online jail records Thursday show she has been released. She has been charged with practicing medicine without a license.

Authorities say Ross and another salon worker provided illegal hydrogel injections that were sealed with Super Glue. One customer said she suffered soreness and psychological problems after the procedure. The second worker is being sought by police.

Police Lt. Thomas Castro says Ross also is being investigated in the death of a 34-year-old woman whose body was found at the salon last month after she had received an injection.

Jail records did not indicate an attorney for Ross.
