Woman Stabbed To Death In Domestic Violence Attack

McKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) - A 58-year-old woman was stabbed to death Monday, July 4 around 10:45 p.m.in a home in the 2100 block of Chippendale Dr. 

Police say the victim was Leasa Carroll.

The suspect, Michael Pennington, 32, was taken into custody at the scene and was charged with murder soon after.

A judge set his bond at $250,000.

Police have not said what the relationship was between the pair but called the crime a domestic violence stabbing.
