Woman Killed As She Ran From Dallas Gunfire

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Law enforcement officials in Dallas are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left one woman dead. It happened at about 7:00 p.m. in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive.

Authorities said that two men were involved in a verbal argument in an apartment complex parking lot. Those two men then started to fire multiple shots at each other. The victim was trying to run away from the scene when she was struck by that gunfire.

The woman has been identified as 19-year-old Kierra Robinson. She was transported to Baylor Medical Center at Dallas with a gunshot wound, and later died from that injury.

Police are still investigating this case and searching for the two men who were involved in the shooting. However, there has been no information released about the possible suspects.
