Woman Recovering After Robbery Shooting In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A woman who was shot during a robbery late Friday night is in critical condition at a local hospital.
According to police, Victoria Polanco, 51, was shot at the 500 block of N. Carroll Avenue.
Due to the extent of her injures, the investigation was moved Sunday from the Robbery Unit over to the Homicide Unit.
Police are still searching for the suspect in the shooting, and they describe him as a male in his 20's with a slender build.
