Will Texas And Texas A&M Rivalry Re-Ignite At TMS?

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Could the Texas and Texas A&M rivalry be re-ignited at the Texas Motor Speedway?
The two schools haven't met since 2011 and since then the Aggies have moved out of the Big 12 and joined the SEC.
But TMS president Eddie Gossage wants to see the clash come back and says the game would be welcomed at their venue.
"We've had crowds in here of over 200,000 people for a NASCAR event so we are one of the very few places in the country that has the infrastructure to serve that many people," said Gossage.
TMS is owned by the Speedway group, which hosted the Tennessee Volunteers and the Virginia Tech Hokies at their Bristol Speedway earlier this year. Over 160,000 fans packed into the stadium for that game, which proves to Gossage they can do it.
"That game proves that we can host these events and do it well. It would be profitable for both schools. I think Tennessee and Virginia Tech both got $4 million."
Gossage says all that's left is for the two schools to agree on a date.
Texas leads the all time series 76-37-5.
