NEW YORK (AP) - One of this year's biggest selling Christmas tree ornaments features the White House -- with an LED light switch.

The White House Historical Association charges $18.95 for each one. The money goes to educate the public about the mansion where the president lives and works.

Each year, one chief executive is honored. This year, it's Calvin Coolidge.

In 1923, he became the first president to preside over the lighting of a national Christmas tree. The ornament's White House windows glow amid scenes from Coolidge's life, including the small Vermont house where he was born, attached to the family general store.

Axel Bang, spokesman for New York based David Howell, who designed the piece, said that it's the nation's favorite Christmas tree ornament collectible. Over 800,000 have been sold.
