Wendy Davis Heads To New Hampshire For Hillary Clinton

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Former Texas gubernatorial candidate and state Sen. Wendy Davis is heading to the Northeast to campaign for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Davis — who earned national recognition for performing an 11-hour filibuster in 2013 to block Senate Bill 5, an abortion bill that pro-choice supporters said added unnecessary burdens to women's health providers — announced her endorsement of Clinton in September. She heads to New Hampshire on Monday.
This isn't the first time Davis has left the Lone Star State on Clinton's behalf; she headed to Iowa to campaign in December.
In New Hampshire Davis will be speaking with voters and volunteers about Clinton and pillars of her campaign, including equal pay, paid medical and family leave and women's health care.
The Granite State hosts its first-in-the-nation primary on Feb. 9.
