Warm and Dry to Month's End
The opening weekend at the State Fair of Texas has enjoyed excellent weather. It continues today:
We are watching a massive upper-level low spin over the Inter-mountain West. Heavy rains will continue across the Rockies today and tomorrow:
This system will kick out into the Central Plains by Wednesday, pushing a cold front into north Texas on Thursday afternoon:
This not only brings us our first rain chance in October (September will likely end as the driest September on record with only .06" of rainfall over the 30 days) but also some cooler weather for next weekend:
