Warm afternoons and rising humidity ahead in North Texas

Above-average temperatures persist in North Texas

NORTH TEXAS – Another pleasant morning is in store for Thursday, but it will be noticeably warmer than the previous few mornings.

The latest update from the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has decreased the odds of formation in the Bay of Campeche to 30% over the next seven days. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms are expected across the Gulf of Mexico in the coming days, with an increase in humidity for the Gulf states.

Upper air: The high-pressure ridge will expand over the southern plains into next week. We should see another weak surface cold front early next week, but it is unlikely to bring any precipitation chances with it.

7-day forecast: Can you spot the front?

Have a nice evening!
