GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) — A North Texas biker killed in the Waco shootout earlier this month was laid to rest today.

The funeral for Manuel Rodriguez was held Saturday in Garland. The 40-year-old Bandidos gang member was shot and killed outside the Twin Peaks Restaurant nearly two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, three Austin men arrested in connection to the shooting were released from jail this week.

Additionally, Texas biker groups are calling for a protest at the McLennan County Courthouse in Waco. A Facebook video promoting the event calls for "1,000 bikers in silent protest" on June 7th.
