Waco Man Gets 12 Life Sentences In Human Trafficking Case

WACO (AP) - An east Waco man found guilty of harboring a 15-year-old runaway and charging men to have sex with her has been sentenced to 12 consecutive terms of life in prison.

The Waco Tribune-Herald reports that 51-year-old Andre Evans was convicted of three counts of human trafficking and nine counts of sexual assault of a child and sentenced Thursday.

The girl, now 16, testified Wednesday that Evans supplied her with drugs and charged men to have sex with her at his home in January and February 2015.
