ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Von Miller says he and Johnny Manziel are homies but not roomies.

The Super Bowl MVP posted an Instagram photo Monday to let the world know that he's not in fact rooming with Manziel as the troubled quarterback told TMZ.

Miller superimposed the two players' heads on the "Step Brothers" moving poster starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly — Miller's face on Ferrell's and Manziel's on Reilly's.

He wrote: "Lol, you guys are HILARIOUS!!! Haha, I love it. Johnny's not staying with me but he is my BROTHER! Like I've said a thousand times, I got his back no matter what! #LOVE #gigem @jmanziel2"

Miller, who was franchise tagged after starring in Denver's 24-10 win over Carolina in the Super Bowl, has been staying in the Los Angeles area while competing on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."

Manziel, who was released by the Cleveland Browns last month and is the subject of a domestic violence investigation in Texas, recently told TMZ outside a bar in West Hollywood, California, that he was living with Miller.

Miller has long been a big Manziel fan. He has his jersey and recently said he wishes the Broncos would sign his fellow Texas A&M alum.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak, himself a former Aggie, did reach out to Manziel after his release following two turbulent seasons in Cleveland, but that was to wish him well. The team is looking elsewhere as it searches for a replacement for the retired Peyton Manning.

Kubiak said last week that the Broncos plan to draft a QB this month to compete with veteran newcomer Mark Sanchez and 2015 seventh-round pick Trevor Siemian. They might also add another veteran. They met with Colin Kaepernick after receiving permission from San Francisco, but he balked at a pay cut and the 49ers declined to pay a portion of his 2016 salary to facilitate a trade.
