Did you know that Listerine actually invented bad breath?

Adam from the TV show, "Adam Ruins Everything" lays a smackdown on the history of Listerine.

It seems Listerine took an archaic term and turned it into a marketing word for bad breath.

No one had used "halitosis" for 50 years - until Listerine coined it again.
