Video: Mom Lets Six-Month Old Swim On Her Own

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - A Florida mother is taking heat after a video of her six-month old baby struggling to swim went viral.
The clip shows Keri Morrison's daughter, Josie, struggling to swim at first, but she's able to turn on her back on her own.
Morrison told Today that she doesn't see anything negative with the video and that she's trying to teach her daughter to swim at an early age after her 2 1/2-year-old son, Jake, accidentally drowned three years ago.
"I wish I could go back in time and put my son in these lessons,'' Morrison told Today. "I'm pretty confident that he would be here, and as a parent, I felt like I failed my son, and I was just determined that was not going to happen with my daughters."
