FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -- The Fort Worth Fire Department said Monday morning they had located a vehicle that was swept away in Friday's flood waters.

The driver, Zenola Jenkins, 76, of Burleson was in that vehicle when it was swept away. Officials said divers made their way to the vehicle late Monday morning and were able to locate Jenkins' body in the vehicle.

Fort Worth Deputy Krystal Salazar was also swept away in flood waters while attempting to rescue Jenkins. Salazar was later rescued and taken to JPS Hospital.

Officials said the car was located approximately one mile downstream from the bridge on Oak Grove Rd South where the vehicle was taken by the flood.

High water and dangerous debris had kept divers from recovering the vehicle until today.
