Van Mayor Criticized For Playing Golf While City In Shambles

VAN (CBSDFW.COM) – Some citizens of Van are criticizing Mayor Dean Stone after he was seen on the golf course while his city is in shambles.
They started asking questions when Mayor Stone didn't show up at Wednesday morning's news conference.
Reporters spotted him at 11 a.m. after he spent three hours on the links.
Stone laughed off the questions, and said he felt comfortable leaving because he had people who could handle the job.
But residents said they have worked around the clock since a tornado hit the town, and expect their mayor to do the same.
Stone was also a no-show at Wednesday's 3 p.m news conference.
