UNT Football Player Turns Himself In Regarding Hit And Run

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) -  A suspect in a December 5, 2015 hit and run has turned himself in to Denton Police.

20-year-old, Darvin Kidsey, a UNT football player, was arrested for allegedly driving a pickup into two people on S. Carroll Boulevard at W. Sycamore Street. and left the scene.

One of the pedestrians, Bobby Kim were seriously hurt and now walks with a cane.

The other victim, Zac Adams suffered a concussion.

After the crash, Denton Police say Kidsey reported his truck stolen but they also say evidence on his cell phone indicates he was driving.

Police say there could be another arrest in this case.  The investigation continues.

In 2015, Kidsey played in 11 games for the Mean Green with starts at wide receiver against SMU and Louisiana Tech.
