U.S. Soccer To Play In Puerto Rico For First Time

CHICAGO (AP) - The United States will play at Puerto Rico for the first time on May 22, an exhibition ahead of the Copa American Centenario.

The game, announced Thursday, will be in Bayamon at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium.

Europe- and Mexico-based players will report to Miami for a training camp opening May 16, and Major League Soccer players will join ahead of an exhibition against Ecuador on May 25 at Frisco, Texas. The Americans also meet Bolivia in a May 28 exhibition at Kansas City, Kansas.

At the Copa America, the U.S. plays first-round games against Colombia (June 3 at Santa Clara, California), Costa Rica (June 7 at Chicago) and Paraguay (June 11 at Philadelphia).

Rosters are due May 20.
