TXU Energy Customers To Get $47 Million In Cash Back Loyalty Rewards

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Depending on who your energy provider is, you could soon be getting a check in the mail. Officials with TXU Energy say they will soon send out more than $47 million to eligible customers who participate in the Cash Back Loyalty Rewards program.
Customers, in good standing, who participate in the rewards program should receive their card by the end of February. The amount of the reward is based on the amount of electricity that eligible customers used in 2015.
In a press release statement, TXU Energy chief marketing officer Sydney Seiger said, "Year after year, customers tell us how much they appreciate the rewards because they allow them to do everything from splurging a little after the holidays to paying bills and making extra charitable contributions."
Since its first payout in 2008, the TXU cash back program has paid out nearly $270 million to eligible customers.
The reward comes in the form of a Visa® pre-paid card and will be sent by mail.
Anyone who hasn't received their card by March can call 888-507-7333 to find out about the status of the reward.
