DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Texas Department of Transportation is testing the new electronic signs for the managed toll lanes along Interstate-30 this week.

According to the state agency, the tests start Wednesday and will run through Friday.

TxDOT is not actually charging tolls on those managed lanes. Those tolls will go into effect this summer. This week, they're just testing the signs.

Drivers will notice the signs along I-30 from east of Westmoreland Road in Dallas County to just west of the Dallas County Line.
