Two Killed In Head-On Crash With Mack Truck In Weatherford

WEATHERFORD (CBSDFW.COM) - An SUV crossed the yellow center stripe on TX 171 Monday afternoon and struck a Mack truck head-on, killing both people inside the SUV.
The driver of the Mack truck was not hurt.
The DPS says around 12:10 p.m. the SUV, a 2013 Toyota Rav4, and the Mack truck were both traveling south on TX 171.
The SUV passed the Mack truck and continued south. Then the SUV made a U-turn and began traveling north on TX 171.
As the SUV approached the Mack truck, the driver of the SUV crossed the center line and into the Mack truck.
The investigation is ongoing.
