Two Flavors Of Oreo Fudge Cremes Recalled

EAST HANOVER, N.J. (CBS News) — Two varieties of Oreo Fudge Cremes are being recalled nationwide because the ingredient list does not include a milk allergen.

Mondelez Global LLC issued the recall on Friday with an announcement on the FDA's website.

Oreo's parent company says the recall of the original and mint-flavored Oreo Fudge Cremes is being taken out of an abundance of caution and is the result of analysis conducted by the FDA related to this product.

The company warns that people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Below is a description of the recalled product, along with the retail UPC and "Best When Used By" dates.
