FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - Two Family Dollar stores were robbed within an hour of each other Sunday morning in east Fort Worth.

The first call came in shortly after 10:00am at the Family Dollar, on Ramey Ave.

According to Fort Worth police, a man dressed in a gray shirt and black pants entered the store and demanded money. An employee called 911 to report that they were being robbed. The suspect escaped before officers arrived.

About an hour later, another Family Dollar store was hit, this one on Bridgewood Drive, four miles north of the first location.

Reports say the unidentified man entered the building and took the store's register and ran off.

Fort Worth detectives are still working the case to determine if the robberies are related.

No injuries were reported. There have been no arrests.
