CORINTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Corinth Police have a warning for parents of young children about a new trend involving candy and the main chemical compound found in marijuana.

Police say drug dealers are spiking candy and sodas with the compound known as THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol.

Marisol Noriega, 20, had half a pound of marijuana in her possession when she was arrested this week, according to police.  She also had several kinds of candy and sodas containing THC.

Upon further investigation, police arrested Daivd Ramos, 23.  They both face charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
