Twitter Responds to Manziel Trademarking 'Johnny Cleveland'
Wednesday, Twitter went nuts after it was discovered Wes Welker was suspended for four games after reportedly violating the NFL's PED policy by allegedly testing positive for "Molly" which may or may not have been slipped to him at the Kentucky Derby.
Now the NFL and Twitter are converging on the revelation Johnny Manziel is seeking to trademark the term "Johnny Cleveland." Did I mention this is this the 10th nickname his team is filing a trademark for? Yes, I said his "team" and I didn't mean the Browns.
Manziel was drafted 22nd in the first round and isn't even the starter. Brian Hoyer won those honor after a less than stellar performance during pre-season followed by a fine for flipping off the Redskins bench.
