This is the story of the American dream come true. Keith Lewis spent 30 years in corporate America. Then came the day when he and his wife decided to pursuit his passion for brewing beer and make it his life.
"We just decided, can we make a business out of brewing beer? Beer is better than semi-conductors" said Keith Lewis, co-owner of Tupp's Brewery in McKinney.
Tupp's Brewery is much more than some stainless steel tanks in a dusty warehouse. You'll find Tupp's nestled quietly behind The Cotton Mill in McKinney. The cotton mill is circa 1910 and Tupp's has kept that feeling alive in their unique and eclectic decor.
"Our environment is different! Our brewery has five big huge roll up doors, we have an outdoor beer garden. Kid friendly, dog friendly and the people who come out here just really love just hanging out" Keith added.
Tupp's craft beer is growing in popularity throughout North Texas in stores and bars.
"We are in about a hundred and fifty bars, pubs and restaurants all within the DFW area." Keith noted. You can also find all five of their craft beers in cans and kegs in many retail locations.
