Trube Stories: First Stop - The End Of The World

RICHARDSON (KRLD) -- It was a big thrill for the audience at the Alamo Drafthouse's "Princess Bride" Quote-Along last night in Richardson.
Mandy Patinkin made a special appearance to kick things off by performing his character Inigo Montoya's famous line. And, he told us what HIS favorite line is in the film...
The television, film and theater legend is in North Texas to do a show he created with NYC avant garde theater artist Taylor Mac and Broadway director Susan Stroman, who brought Mel Brooks' work to the stage with "The Producers" and "Bride of Frankenstein."
"The Last Two People on Earth: An Apocalyptic Vaudeville" will premiere next week in Richardson at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts.
"People know us from different places, and we have different kinds of audiences," says Patinkin. "That's really thrilling to me -- breaking all these lines."
I had the opportunity to sit down with all three in an empty theater at the Alamo Drafthouse to talk about the show, the enduring power of the vaudeville style and "Fifty Shades of Grey"....kind of. Just listen.
