FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Testimony is underway in the murder trial of a Fort Worth man who is accused of the stabbing death of a co-worker. The two men were members of a lawn mowing crew.

According to reports, in May of 2014, a crew was finishing a day of mowing medians and public areas in Fort Worth.

There were three men in the cab of the pickup truck.

Police say there was a conversation, nothing provacative, but suddenly 44-year old Christopher Lopez allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed one of his co-workers three times in the chest.

The man he is charged with killing was 64-year old Manual Duiran, who moved from Mexico to the United States to give his kids a better life.

Police say there did not appear to be a reason for the stabbing.
