LATE SHOW PRESENT & FUTURE
The present and future will collide on next week on The Late Show.
Mark your calendars for next Tuesday night. That's when when the next Late Show host Stephen Colbert will meet with the current host David Letterman.
CBS announced last week that Colbert will take over as host next year when Letterman retires.
No exact retirement date has been announced and CBS has yet to name a location for the new late show either.
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Los Angeles are all being considered.
PROMPOSAL
Apparently a simple "Will you go to prom with me?" is no longer acceptable for kids these days.
One Houston-area high schooler got police involved in what he called a "promposal."
Johnny Morales asked police to stage a traffic stop for his girlfriend Andrea Rojas.
They told her she was speeding --plus she didn't have a license and was driving someone else's car.
She thought she was in real trouble when they asked her to get out of the car.
That's when Johnny opened the trunk releasing several balloons and popped the prom question.
Andrea said yes!
