Top 5 Sports Callers Of The Week: March 9-13

The Top 5 Sports Callers of the week is a weekly installment from CBS Local Sports that will bring you the wildest callers from across the nation.

In this week’s episode we start with Tony from Medina, who called in to Baskin and Phelps on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland wishing Brian Hoyer the best of luck with his new team.  Tony was clearly sad that Hoyer would not be back in Cleveland for this upcoming season.

Checking in at number four is Leslie from Houston who hopped on the Triple Threat show on SportsRadio 610 in Houston after Andre Johnson signed with the Indianapolis Colts. While she was upset that Johnson would be leaving Houston, she’s still hoping that the future will hold good things for him.

The number three caller this week was Roswell from Miami who joined the Big O Show on 560WQAM in Miami in the wake of the Dolphins signing premier free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a record deal. Roswell didn’t seem too optimistic about the Dolphins improving with the acquisition and made up a new chant to express his feelings.

The number two spot goes to Dan from Warwick New Jersey who thoroughly confused Mike Francesa on WFAN with a question about whether the New York Giants and San Francisco Giants ever have a meet-up when the teams are both in NY. Mike recovered pretty quickly and you have to hear his response.

Finally, the number one spot is Kenny from Philadelphia who hopped on with Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team on 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia to express his displeasure with Chip Kelly over some of the early free agency moves. Namely the trade of Nick Foles for Sam Bradford.
