Tom Brady Is Leaving The New England Patriots After 20 Years
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - After 20 years, 14 pro bowls, 6 super bowls, and 3 MVPs Tom Brady announced he will not return to the New England Patriots for the 2020 season and will be a free agent.
He made the announcement via his social media outlets this morning.

Brady did state that his, "football journey will take place elsewhere." In addition, he thanked the "incredible fans and Patriots supporters." Adding, it has "truly been the happiest two decades I could have envisioned in my life, and I have nothing but love and gratitude for my time in New England."
Patriots owner Robert Kraft also released a statement about Brady leaving this morning. "Tommy initiated contact last night and came over," Kraft told ESPN's Mike Reiss. "We had a positive, respectful discussion. It's not the way I want it to end, but I want him to do what is in his best personal interest. After 20 years with us, he has earned that right. I love him like a son.
Brady has not made a decision on where he will play next season, however, it is rumored that the former 6th round pick has offers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Chargers.
