Three People Die Following Head-On Wreck On I-20 In Terrell

KAUFMAN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - Three people died following a head-on wreck on eastbound Interstate 20 in northern Kaufman County Monday morning.
According to Terrell Police, the crash happened when a red Ford pickup, with two occupants inside, pulling a trailer, lost control on the Interstate and left the roadway, went airborne, and landed into the oncoming lane of traffic.
The truck then struck a white Chevy pickup truck with one occupant, and both vehicles rolled.

All three were pronounced dead that the scene.
Interstate 20 was shut down until around 2:30 p.m.

The victims have been identified as Lewis Rogers, 55 of Oakridge, Louisiana (driver of red pickup), Jerry Thomas, 54 of Monroe, Louisiana, (passenger in red pickup) and Jerry Crawford, 68 of Princeton, Texas (driver of white pickup).
