Three Dead In Small Plane Crash

EASTLAND COUNTY, TX (CBSDFW.COM) - Three people died in a small plane crash in Eastland County late Saturday night.

FAA Spokesperson Lynn Lunsford said the single-engine Lancair went down soon after take off from Cook Canyon Ranch Airport around midnight.

The names of the victims have not been released and the cause of the crash is still being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.

According to Records the small plane was registered to River Bend Energy LLC of Arlington.
