Threat Made On Dallas Police Headquarters

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - According to police, a credible threat was made against Dallas Police headquarters late Saturday afternoon.

SWAT was on the scene and circled the perimeter.

Sources told our Brian New that the Dallas Police Department received an anonymous message about a group coming from Houston with the intent to kill officers.

Sources told our Jeff Paul that one person from the Houston group was spotted in Dallas/Fort Worth.

According to our Jeff Paul, the scene at the Dallas Police headquarters escalated with officers running around with guns drawn.

According to reports, a man in black was spotted running into the Dallas Police parking garage, and police swept the area.

Dallas police said shots were not fired and the headquarters was not on lockdown.

According to Dallas police, the search in the parking garage was completed with no suspect found.

According to Dallas police, floors one through three of the parking garages were finished being searched with no suspects found.

Police said employees were able to return to their vehicles and leave.
