The latest Drought Monitor came out today and the drought continues for much of North Texas.  The areas shaded in red are in the Extreme to Exceptional Drought.

RAINFALL UPDATE

We are down over 9" for the year at DFW.

BURN BANS

A few counties in North Texas currently have burn bans.  Counties shaded in red have burn bans in effect as of Sept. 11, 2014.

LAKE LEVELS

Here is the complete list of North Texas lakes.  It shows the % full of each lake along with the difference between conservation and also the change in the past 24 hours.  Click on images to enlarge.

We do have rain in the forecast Thursday night into Friday.  It won't be enough to break the drought but we will take what we can get.  Get the very latest on the forecast after the game on CBS 11 News.
