The best cupcake in the state of Texas is in a Denton shop.
For 10 years, stay-at-home mom Lisa Britten baked up cakes for her kids' birthdays before opening Sugar Queen Cupcakes on University Drive.
Her "best in state" title came from winning a fundraising bake-off sponsored by the Texas State Legislature.
Britten says in five years she's never had to defend her title - but would be up for the challenge!
She says owning Sugar Queen has taught her kids business sense and given her lifelong friendships.
And for those out to satisfy their sweet tooth, Britten says her pineapple upside down, cream cheese lime, and pumpkin cream cheese cupcakes are not to be missed!
