Recovery efforts underway for missing teen in boat crash

After the first record-high of summer no heat alerts or warnings Monday

POINT VENTURE, TEXAS (CBSNewsTexas.com) - Search efforts for a missing teen involved in a boat crash switched to recovery efforts Monday morning. Six others were injured in the accident.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), a boat went over the wake of another boat, ejecting at least one person. The boat lost control and ran onshore of Lake Austin.

Two people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries, while two others were taken to a hospital with potentially serious injuries and the remaining two individuals refused transport.
