TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The dust has started to settle after last week's historic election, and one small Texas town in the Panhandle has earned the title of "Reddest County In America."

It was almost a clean sweep in Roberts County where more than 95 percent of voters cast their ballot for President-elect Donald Trump, the highest of any county in the United States.

"He stands for the working Americans, middle class, and that's a lot of us," said one resident.

For another person living in the 'Most Pro-Trump county in the Nation,' his vote came down to character.

"I think he's a true, a true honest man."

Out of the almost 1,000 people who live in Roberts County, just 20 voted for Hillary Clinton.
