SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A private San Antonio high school says a football player is no longer on the team and has been given a three-day suspension after being ejected from a game for shoving a referee, an incident that comes about a week after two players from a public school in the city struck a referee.

St. Anthony Catholic High School said Monday that it understands the "severity" of Saturday's incident and "does not tolerate this type of behavior."

The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools says it's investigating. Its executive board will meet Wednesday to review the facts.

Video of the game in San Antonio between St. Anthony and Austin's Hyde Park High School shows the St. Anthony player shoving the referee, then being restrained by his teammates.
