Texas election results and maps show live vote count for 2024 races
Texas voters are deciding on a number of key issues and races in the 2024 election.
CBS News projects that Republican incumbent Ted Cruz will win the U.S. Senate race against Democratic challenger Colin Allred. Additionally, it projects that former President Donald Trump will secure the 40 electoral votes in Texas.
Those two races highlighted the Texas ballot.
