If you drive by Globe Life Park in Arlington through December 23rd , you might wonder if you've driven to Germany for the holidays. It's called the Texas Christkindl Market and boasts over fifty vendors, rides, food and authentic music.
"When you walk on to this festival grounds, you'll feel like you've been transported into Germany" said Barbara Kovacevich, Director of Special Events in Arlington.
If you were wondering what exactly is the Christkindl? "The Christkindl is the German tradition. Here is the U.S. Santa brings the gifts to the children on Christmas Eve, but in Germany it's the Christkindl Angel" Barbara added.
